旧约-以赛亚书(Isaiah) 第40章

第1段

中文 你们的神说,你们要安慰,安慰我的百姓。
英文 Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God.

第2段

中文 要对耶路撒冷说安慰的话,又向他宣告说,他争战的日子已满了,他的罪孽赦免了,他为自己的一切罪,从耶和华手中加倍受罚。
英文 Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the LORD's hand double for all her sins.

第3段

中文 有人声喊着说,在旷野豫备耶和华的路,(或作在旷野有人声喊着说,当豫备耶和华的路),在沙漠地修平我们神的道。
英文 The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.

第4段

中文 一切山洼都要填满,大小山冈都要削平,高高低低的要改为平坦,崎崎岖岖的必成为平原。
英文 Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:

第5段

中文 耶和华的荣耀必然显现,凡有血气的,必一同看见,因为这是耶和华亲口说的。
英文 And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

第6段

中文 有人声说,你喊叫吧。有一个说,我喊叫什么呢。说,凡有血气的,尽都如草,他的美容,都像野地的花。
英文 The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field:

第7段

中文 草必枯乾,花必凋残,因为耶和华的气吹在其上。百姓诚然是草。
英文 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the LORD bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass.

第8段

中文 草必枯乾,花必凋残,唯有我们神的话,必永远立定。
英文 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.

第9段

中文 报好信息给锡安的阿,你要登
英文 O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God!

第10段

中文 主耶和华必像大能者临到,他的膀臂必为他掌权。他的赏赐在他那里,他的报应在他面前。
英文 Behold, the Lord GOD will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.

第11段

中文 他必像牧人牧养自己的羊群,用膀臂聚集羊羔抱在怀中,慢慢引导那乳养小羊的。
英文 He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.

中文 谁曾用手心量诸水,用手虎口量苍天,用升斗盛大地的尘土,用秤称山岭,用天平平岗陵呢。
英文 Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted out heaven with the span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance?

中文 谁曾测度耶和华的心(或作谁曾指示耶和华的灵),或作他的谋士指教他呢。
英文 Who hath directed the Spirit of the LORD, or being his counsellor hath taught him?

第14段

中文 他与谁商议,谁教导他,谁将公平的路指示他,又将知识教训他,将通达的道指教他呢。
英文 With whom took he counsel, and who instructed him, and taught him in the path of judgment, and taught him knowledge, and shewed to him the way of understanding?

第15段

中文 看哪,万民都像水桶的一滴,又算如天平上的微尘。他举起众海岛,好像极微之物。
英文 Behold, the nations are as a drop of a bucket, and are counted as the small dust of the balance: behold, he taketh up the isles as a very little thing.

第16段

中文 黎巴嫩的树林不彀当柴烧,其中的走兽也不彀作燔祭。
英文 And Lebanon is not sufficient to burn, nor the beasts thereof sufficient for a burnt offering.

第17段

中文 万民在他面前好像虚无,被他看为不及虚无,乃为虚空。
英文 All nations before him are as nothing; and they are counted to him less than nothing, and vanity.

第18段

中文 你们究竟将谁比神,用什么形像与神比较呢。
英文 To whom then will ye liken God? or what likeness will ye compare unto him?

第19段

中文 偶像是匠人制造,银匠用金包裹,为他铸造银链。
英文 The workman melteth a graven image, and the goldsmith spreadeth it over with gold, and casteth silver chains.

第20段

中文 穷乏献不起这样供物的,就拣选不能朽坏的树木,为自己寻梢巧匠,立起不能摇动的偶像。
英文 He that is so impoverished that he hath no oblation chooseth a tree that will not rot; he seeketh unto him a cunning workman to prepare a graven image, that shall not be moved.

第21段

中文 你们岂不曾知道吗,你们岂不曾听见吗,从起初岂没有人告诉你们吗,自从立地的根基,你们岂没有明白吗。
英文 Have ye not known? have ye not heard? hath it not been told you from the beginning? have ye not understood from the foundations of the earth?

第22段

中文 神坐在地球大圈之上,地上的居民好像蝗虫。他铺张穹苍如幔子,展开诸天如可住的帐棚。
英文 It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:

中文 他使君王归于虚无,使地上的审判官成为虚空。
英文 That bringeth the princes to nothing; he maketh the judges of the earth as vanity.

第24段

中文 他们是刚才栽上,(刚才或作不曾下同)刚才种上,根也刚才扎在地里,他一吹在其上,便都枯乾,旋风将他们吹去,像碎秸一样。
英文 Yea, they shall not be planted; yea, they shall not be sown: yea, their stock shall not take root in the earth: and he shall also blow upon them, and they shall wither, and the whirlwind shall take them away as stubble.

第25段

中文 那圣者说,你们将谁比我,叫他与我相等呢。
英文 To whom then will ye liken me, or shall I be equal? saith the Holy One.

第26段

中文 你们向上举目,看谁创造这万象,按数目领出,他一一称其名。因他的权能,又因他的大能大力,连一个都不缺。
英文 Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: he calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in power; not one faileth.

第27段

中文 雅各阿,你为何说我的道路向耶和华隐藏。以色列阿,你为何言,我的冤屈神并不查问。
英文 Why sayest thou, O Jacob, and speakest, O Israel, My way is hid from the LORD, and my judgment is passed over from my God?

第28段

中文 你岂不曾知道吗,你岂不曾听见吗,永在的神耶和华,创造地极的主,并不疲乏,也不困倦。他的智慧无法测度。
英文 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.

第29段

中文 疲乏的,他赐能力。软弱的,他加力量。
英文 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.

第30段

中文 就是少年人也要疲乏困倦,强壮的也必全然跌倒。
英文 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:

第31段

中文 但那等候耶和华的,必从新得力,他们必如鹰展翅上腾,他们奔跑却不困倦,行走却不疲乏。
英文 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
