旧约-以赛亚书(Isaiah) 第13章

第1段

中文 亚摩斯的儿子以赛亚得默示论巴比伦。
英文 The burden of Babylon, which Isaiah the son of Amoz did see.

第2段

中文 应当在净光的山竖立大旗,向群众扬声招手,使他们进入贵胄的门。
英文 Lift ye up a banner upon the high mountain, exalt the voice unto them, shake the hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles.

第3段

中文 我吩咐我所挑出来的人。我招呼我的勇士,就是那矜夸高傲之辈,为要成就我怒中所定的。
英文 I have commanded my sanctified ones, I have also called my mighty ones for mine anger, even them that rejoice in my highness.

第4段

中文 山间有多人的声音,好像是大国人民。有许多国的民聚集哄囔的声音。这是万军之耶和华点齐军队,豫备打仗。
英文 The noise of a multitude in the mountains, like as of a great people; a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together: the LORD of hosts mustereth the host of the battle.

第5段

中文 他们从远方来,从天边来,就是耶和华并他恼恨的兵器,要毁灭这全地。
英文 They come from a far country, from the end of heaven, even the LORD, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land.

第6段

中文 你们要哀号,因为耶和华的日子临近了。这日来到,好像毁灭从全能者来到。
英文 Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.

第7段

中文 所以人手都必软弱,人心都必消化。
英文 Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt:

第8段

中文 他们必惊惶悲痛。愁苦必将他们抓住。他们疼痛,好像产难的妇人一样。彼此惊奇相看,脸如火焰。
英文 And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames.

第9段

中文 耶和华的日子临到,必有残忍,忿恨,烈怒。使这地荒凉,从其中除灭罪人。
英文 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.

第10段

中文 天上得众星群宿,都不发光。日头一出,就变黑暗,月亮也不放光。
英文 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.

第11段

中文 我必因邪恶,刑罚世界,因罪孽,刑罚恶人。使骄傲人的狂妄止息,制伏强暴人的狂傲。
英文 And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.

第12段

中文 我必使人比精金还少,使人比俄斐纯金更少。
英文 I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir.

第13段

中文 我万军之耶和华在忿恨中发烈怒的日子,必使天震动,使地摇憾,离其本位。
英文 Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.

第14段

中文 人必像被追赶的鹿,像无人收聚的羊,各归回本族,各逃到本土。
英文 And it shall be as the chased roe, and as a sheep that no man taketh up: they shall every man turn to his own people, and flee every one into his own land.

第15段

中文 凡被仇敌追上的,必被刺死。凡被捉住的,必被刀杀。
英文 Every one that is found shall be thrust through; and every one that is joined unto them shall fall by the sword.

第16段

中文 他们的婴孩,必在他们眼前摔碎。他们的房屋,必被抢夺。他们的妻子,必被玷污。
英文 Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished.

第17段

中文 我必激动玛代人来攻击他们。玛代人不注重银子,也不喜爱金子。
英文 Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, which shall not regard silver; and as for gold, they shall not delight in it.

第18段

中文 他们必用弓击碎少年人,不怜悯妇人所生的,眼也不顾惜孩子。
英文 Their bows also shall dash the young men to pieces; and they shall have no pity on the fruit of the womb; their eye shall not spare children.

第19段

中文 巴比伦素来为列国的荣耀,为迦勒底人所矜夸的华美,必像神所倾覆的所多玛蛾摩拉一样。
英文 And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees' excellency, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah.

第20段

中文 其内必永无人烟,世世代代无人居住。阿拉伯人也不在那里支搭帐蓬。牧羊的人,也不使羊群卧在那里。
英文 It shall never be inhabited, neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation: neither shall the Arabian pitch tent there; neither shall the shepherds make their fold there.

第21段

中文 只有旷野的走兽卧在那里。咆哮的兽满了房屋。鸵鸟住在那里。野山羊在那里跳舞。
英文 But wild beasts of the desert shall lie there; and their houses shall be full of doleful creatures; and owls shall dwell there, and satyrs shall dance there.

第22段

中文 豺狼必在他宫中呼号。野狗必在他华美殿内吼叫。巴比伦受罚的时候临近,他的日子,必不长久。
英文 And the wild beasts of the islands shall cry in their desolate houses, and dragons in their pleasant palaces: and her time is near to come, and her days shall not be prolonged.
