旧约-箴言(Proverbs) 第11章

第1段

中文 诡诈的天平,为耶和华所憎恶。公平的法码,为他所喜悦。
英文 A false balance is abomination to the LORD: but a just weight is his delight.

第2段

中文 骄傲来,羞耻也来。谦逊人却有智慧。
英文 When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.

第3段

中文 正直人的纯正,必引导自己。奸诈人的乖僻,必毁灭自己。
英文 The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them.

第4段

中文 发怒的日子,赀财无益。惟有公义能救人脱离死亡。
英文 Riches profit not in the day of wrath: but righteousness delivereth from death.

第5段

中文 完全人的义,必指引他的路。但恶人必因自己的恶跌倒。
英文 The righteousness of the perfect shall direct his way: but the wicked shall fall by his own wickedness.

第6段

中文 正直人的义,必拯救自己。奸诈人必陷在自己的罪孽中。
英文 The righteousness of the upright shall deliver them: but transgressors shall be taken in their own naughtiness.

第7段

中文 恶人一死,他的指望必灭绝。罪人的盼望,也必灭没。
英文 When a wicked man dieth, his expectation shall perish: and the hope of unjust men perisheth.

第8段

中文 义人得脱离患难,有恶人来代替他。
英文 The righteous is delivered out of trouble, and the wicked cometh in his stead.

第9段

中文 不虔敬的人用口败坏邻舍。义人却因知识得救。
英文 An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour: but through knowledge shall the just be delivered.

第10段

中文 义人享福合城喜乐。恶人灭亡,人都欢呼。
英文 When it goeth well with the righteous, the city rejoiceth: and when the wicked perish, there is shouting.

第11段

中文 城因正直人祝福便高举。却因邪恶人的口就倾覆。
英文 By the blessing of the upright the city is exalted: but it is overthrown by the mouth of the wicked.

第12段

中文 藐视邻舍的,毫无智慧。明哲人却静默不言。
英文 He that is void of wisdom despiseth his neighbour: but a man of understanding holdeth his peace.

第13段

中文 往来传舌的,泄漏密事。心中诚实的,遮隐事情。
英文 A talebearer revealeth secrets: but he that is of a faithful spirit concealeth the matter.

中文 无智谋,民就败落。谋士多,人便安居。
英文 Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.

第15段

中文 外人作保的,必受亏损。恨恶击掌的,却得安稳。
英文 He that is surety for a stranger shall smart for it: and he that hateth suretiship is sure.

第16段

中文 恩德的妇女得尊荣。强暴的男子得赀财。
英文 A gracious woman retaineth honour: and strong men retain riches.

中文 仁慈的人,善待自己。残忍的人,扰害己身。
英文 The merciful man doeth good to his own soul: but he that is cruel troubleth his own flesh.

第18段

中文 恶人经营,得虚浮的工价。撒义种的,得实在的果效。
英文 The wicked worketh a deceitful work: but to him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure reward.

第19段

中文 恒心为义的,必得生命。追求邪恶的,必致死亡。
英文 As righteousness tendeth to life: so he that pursueth evil pursueth it to his own death.

第20段

中文 心中乖僻的,为耶和华所憎恶。行事完全的,为他所喜悦。
英文 They that are of a froward heart are abomination to the LORD: but such as are upright in their way are his delight.

第21段

中文 恶人虽然连手,必不免受罚。义人的后裔,必得拯救。
英文 Though hand join in hand, the wicked shall not be unpunished: but the seed of the righteous shall be delivered.

第22段

中文 妇女美貌而无见识,如同金环带在猪鼻上。
英文 As a jewel of gold in a swine's snout, so is a fair woman which is without discretion.

第23段

中文 义人的心愿,尽得好处。恶人的指望,致干忿怒。
英文 The desire of the righteous is only good: but the expectation of the wicked is wrath.

第24段

中文 有施散的,却更增添。有吝惜过度的,反致穷乏。
英文 There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty.

第25段

中文 好施舍的,必得丰裕。滋润人的,必得滋润。
英文 The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.

第26段

中文 屯粮不卖的,民必咒诅他。情愿出卖的,人必为他祝福。
英文 He that withholdeth corn, the people shall curse him: but blessing shall be upon the head of him that selleth it.

第27段

中文 恳切求善的,就求得恩惠。惟独求恶的,恶必临到他身。
英文 He that diligently seeketh good procureth favour: but he that seeketh mischief, it shall come unto him.

第28段

中文 依仗自己财物的,必跌倒。义人必发旺如青叶。
英文 He that trusteth in his riches shall fall; but the righteous shall flourish as a branch.

第29段

中文 扰害己家的,必承受清风。愚昧人必作慧心人的仆人。
英文 He that troubleth his own house shall inherit the wind: and the fool shall be servant to the wise of heart.

第30段

中文 义人所结的果子,就是生命树。有智慧的必能得人。
英文 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.

第31段

中文 看哪,义人在世尚且受报,何况恶人和罪人呢。
英文 Behold, the righteous shall be recompensed in the earth: much more the wicked and the sinner.
