第1段

中文 我是因耶和华忿怒的杖,遭遇困苦的人。
英文 I AM the man that hath seen affliction by the rod of his wrath.

第2段

中文 他引导我,使我行在黑暗中,不行在光明里。
英文 He hath led me, and brought me into darkness, but not into light.

第3段

中文 他真是终日再三反手攻击我。
英文 Surely against me is he turned; he turneth his hand against me all the day.

第4段

中文 他使我的皮肉枯乾。他折断(或作压伤)我的骨头。
英文 My flesh and my skin hath he made old; he hath broken my bones.

第5段

中文 他筑垒攻击我,用苦楚(原文作苦胆)和艰难围困我。
英文 He hath builded against me, and compassed me with gall and travail.

第6段

中文 他使我住在幽暗之处,像死了许久的人一样。
英文 He hath set me in dark places, as they that be dead of old.

第7段

中文 他用篱笆围住我,使我不能出去。他使我的铜链沉重。
英文 He hath hedged me about, that I cannot get out: he hath made my chain heavy.

中文 我哀号求救。他使我的祷告不得上达。
英文 Also when I cry and shout, he shutteth out my prayer.

中文 他用凿过的石头挡住我的道。他使我的路弯曲。
英文 He hath inclosed my ways with hewn stone, he hath made my paths crooked.

第10段

中文 他向我如熊埋伏,如狮子在隐密处。
英文 He was unto me as a bear lying in wait, and as a lion in secret places.

第11段

中文 他使我转离正路,将我撕碎,使我凄凉。
英文 He hath turned aside my ways, and pulled me in pieces: he hath made me desolate.

中文 他张弓将我当作箭靶子。
英文 He hath bent his bow, and set me as a mark for the arrow.

第13段

中文 他把箭袋中的箭射入我的肺腑。
英文 He hath caused the arrows of his quiver to enter into my reins.

第14段

中文 我成了众民的笑话。他们终日以我为歌曲。
英文 I was a derision to all my people; and their song all the day.

第15段

中文 他用苦楚充满我,使我饱用茵??。
英文 He hath filled me with bitterness, he hath made me drunken with wormwood.

第16段

中文 他又用沙石碜断我的牙,用灰尘将我蒙蔽。
英文 He hath also broken my teeth with gravel stones, he hath covered me with ashes.

第17段

中文 你使我远离平安,我忘记好处。
英文 And thou hast removed my soul far off from peace: I forgat prosperity.

第18段

中文 我就说,我的力量衰败。我在耶和华那里毫无指望。
英文 And I said, My strength and my hope is perished from the LORD:

第19段

中文 耶和华阿,求你记念我如茵??和苦胆的困苦窘迫。
英文 Remembering mine affliction and my misery, the wormwood and the gall.

第20段

中文 我心想念这些,就在里面忧闷。
英文 My soul hath them still in remembrance, and is humbled in me.

第21段

中文 我想起这事,心里就有指望。
英文 This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope.

第22段

中文 我们不致消灭,是出于耶和华诸般的慈爱。是因他的怜悯不致断绝。
英文 It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.

第23段

中文 每早晨,这都是新的。你的诚实极其广大。
英文 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

第24段

中文 我心里说,耶和华是我的分,因此,我要仰望他。
英文 The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.

第25段

中文 凡等候耶和华,心里寻求他的,耶和华必施恩给他。
英文 The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.

第26段

中文 人仰望耶和华,静默等候他的救恩,这原是好的。
英文 It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.

第27段

中文 人在幼年负轭,这原是好的。
英文 It is good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth.

第28段

中文 他当独坐无言,因为这是耶和华加在他身上的。
英文 He sitteth alone and keepeth silence, because he hath borne it upon him.

第29段

中文 他当口贴尘埃,或者有指望。
英文 He putteth his mouth in the dust; if so be there may be hope.

第30段

中文 他当由人打他的腮颊,要满受凌辱。
英文 He giveth his cheek to him that smiteth him: he is filled full with reproach.

第31段

中文 因为主必不永远丢弃人。
英文 For the LORD will not cast off for ever:

第32段

中文 主虽使人忧愁,还要照他诸般的慈爱发怜悯。
英文 But though he cause grief, yet will he have compassion according to the multitude of his mercies.

第33段

中文 因他并不甘心使人受苦,使人忧愁。
英文 For he doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men.

第34段

中文 人将世上被囚的踹(原文作压)在脚下,
英文 To crush under his feet all the prisoners of the earth,

第35段

中文 或在至高者面前屈枉人,
英文 To turn aside the right of a man before the face of the most High,

第36段

中文 或在人的讼事上颠倒是非,这都是主看不上的。
英文 To subvert a man in his cause, the LORD approveth not.

第37段

中文 除非主命定,谁能说成就成呢。
英文 Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass, when the Lord commandeth it not?

第38段

中文 祸福不都出于至高者的口吗。
英文 Out of the mouth of the most High proceedeth not evil and good?

第39段

中文 活人因自己的罪受罚,为何发怨言呢。
英文 Wherefore doth a living man complain, a man for the punishment of his sins?

第40段

中文 我们当深深考察自己的行为,再归向耶和华。
英文 Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the LORD.

第41段

中文 我们当诚心向天上的神举手祷告。
英文 Let us lift up our heart with our hands unto God in the heavens.

第42段

中文 我们犯罪背逆,你并不赦免。
英文 We have transgressed and have rebelled: thou hast not pardoned.

第43段

中文 你自被怒气遮蔽,追赶我们。你施行杀戮,并不顾惜。
英文 Thou hast covered with anger, and persecuted us: thou hast slain, thou hast not pitied.

第44段

中文 你以黑云遮蔽自己,以致祷告不得透入。
英文 Thou hast covered thyself with a cloud, that our prayer should not pass through.

第45段

中文 你使我们在万民中成为污秽和渣滓。
英文 Thou hast made us as the offscouring and refuse in the midst of the people.

第46段

中文 我们的仇敌都向我们大大张口。
英文 All our enemies have opened their mouths against us.

第47段

中文 恐惧和陷坑,残害和毁灭,都临近我们。
英文 Fear and a snare is come upon us, desolation and destruction.

第48段

中文 因我众民遭的毁灭,我就眼泪下流如河。
英文 Mine eye runneth down with rivers of water for the destruction of the daughter of my people.

第49段

中文 我的眼多多流泪,总不止息,
英文 Mine eye trickleth down, and ceaseth not, without any intermission,

第50段

中文 直等耶和华垂顾,从天观看。
英文 Till the LORD look down, and behold from heaven.

第51段

中文 因我本城的众民,我的眼,使我的心伤痛。
英文 Mine eye affecteth mine heart because of all the daughters of my city.

第52段

中文 无故与我为仇的追逼我,像追雀鸟一样。
英文 Mine enemies chased me sore, like a bird, without cause.

第53段

中文 他们使我的命在牢狱中断绝,并将一块石头抛在我身上。
英文 They have cut off my life in the dungeon, and cast a stone upon me.

第54段

中文 众水流过我头,我说,我命断绝了。
英文 Waters flowed over mine head; then I said, I am cut off.

第55段

中文 耶和华阿,我从深牢中求告你的名。
英文 I called upon thy name, O LORD, out of the low dungeon.

第56段

中文 你曾听见我的声音。我求你解救,你不要掩耳不听。
英文 Thou hast heard my voice: hide not thine ear at my breathing, at my cry.

第57段

中文 我求告你的日子,你临近我,说,不要惧怕。
英文 Thou drewest near in the day that I called upon thee: thou saidst, Fear not.

第58段

中文 主阿,你伸明了我的冤。你救赎了我的命。
英文 O LORD, thou hast pleaded the causes of my soul; thou hast redeemed my life.

第59段

中文 耶和华阿,你见了我受的委屈。求你为我伸冤。
英文 O LORD, thou hast seen my wrong: judge thou my cause.

第60段

中文 他们仇恨我,谋害我,你都看见了。
英文 Thou hast seen all their vengeance and all their imaginations against me.

第61段

中文 耶和华阿,你听见他们辱骂我的话,知道他们向我所设的计,
英文 Thou hast heard their reproach, O LORD, and all their imaginations against me;

第62段

中文 并那些起来攻击我的人口中所说的话,以及终日向我所设的计谋。
英文 The lips of those that rose up against me, and their device against me all the day.

第63段

中文 求你观看,他们坐下,起来,都以我为歌曲。
英文 Behold their sitting down, and their rising up; I am their musick.

第64段

中文 耶和华阿,你要按着他们手所作的向他们施行报应。
英文 Render unto them a recompence, O LORD, according to the work of their hands.

第65段

中文 你要使他们心里刚硬,使你的咒诅临到他们。
英文 Give them sorrow of heart, thy curse unto them.

第66段

中文 你要发怒追赶他们,从耶和华的天下除灭他们。
英文 Persecute and destroy them in anger from under the heavens of the LORD.
